This piece is an ode to Istanbul. I chose to experiment with texture, color, and perspective in my work. My use of mixed media reflects the complex history of Istanbul itself. The use of perspective invites the viewer to meander through the street scene discovering hidden treasures, just like a traveller wandering through an unknown land.
