Oil paint
This painting is all about looking at everyday objects in a new way. I chose a spray bottle, a necklace, an apple, and scissors as my objects. I used oil paints on a green backdrop. The spray bottle is made of glass, so it was interesting to show how light shines through. The necklace draped over it adds a bit of elegance.
I mixed these items with an apple and scissors to make things more interesting. The apple symbolizes the natural world, while the scissors are sharp and man-made. Together, they create a striking contrast.
I used oil paints because they’re bold and bright. My aim was to play with colors and see how these objects seem unfamiliar, even abstract. I strive to make the ordinary become extraordinary.
