In my painting, “Under the Sun,” I explore the essence of human existence through a blend of textures and colors. I painted women gazing into the sun, a universal symbol of hope and illumination. Regardless of where we come from ethnically, mentally, and emotionally, we all seek common aspirations in life. We all live beneath the same sun, sharing fundamental human qualities that bind us together.
My inspiration draws from the deep blue and golden hues found in traditional tarot cards, emphasizing spirituality as a unifying force. Through intricate textural and color experimentation, I aim to convey the interconnectedness of humanity. Each brushstroke represents our shared journey, highlighting the beauty in our diversity while celebrating the universal yearning for meaning and connection.
